OK, so I can't get online on the computer that has all of our pictures on it, but I have to post something every so often or I'll start catching grief from a few unnamed friends ;-). Soooo, here's one of those random surveys that I took off my Myspace page. Enjoy :-) (FYI- I deleted a few questions that only apply to Myspace, which is why the numbering is off in a few places).
1. When was the last time you shaved?
ummm, I'm not sure. I've been wearing jeans with tank tops a lot because the baby belly is starting to get to the size that it's hard to thoroughly do my legs.

strawberry (needs Cool-Whip on it too though!)
4. What does your favorite candle smell like?
Pear Glace from White Barn Candle Company or Green Grass from Yankee Candle

In some forms, yes. I never was a geometry person though
6. Are any of your great-grandparents still alive?
No- my last living one died when I was 12
7. When was the last time you spoke in front of a large group of people?
My husband and I spoke in church a few months ago- which totaled about 3,000 people.

11. What was the last TV show you watched?
Sunday Night Football on NBC!
12. Do you have any famous ancestors?
I'm related to people who came over on the Mayflower, Mary Queen of Scotts, and Hannah Dustin (she has a statue in her honor in New England somewhere, I've been there :-P ). I think I'm also related to the first governer of Hawaii and my great-great grandfather invented the extension ladder (my dad does geniology, so I know all this stuff :-)
13. Do you sleep with the door to your room open or closed?
Open- I have kiddos coming in for various reasons almost every night of the week (usually Teddy around 2 AM because he wants a cup of milk!)
14. Do you have a secret identity?
Hmmm, I think I'm a little past that now!
15. Have you ever sniffed magic markers?
Yes! I LOVED the ones that were scented to smell like fruit when I was little!! I got a new set and wouldn't color with them because I wanted them to keep their smell :-)
16. What was one of your favorite toys as a child?
Playmobile

Not really, unless you count the damage that pregnancy does to your body :-P
19. Do you have a credit card?
Yup, a few of them
20. Have you ever taken out a loan to pay for school?

22. Do you have DSL, cable or dialup?
DSL
23. Do you ever leave messages on people's answering machines/voice mail?

25. What's your favorite frozen treat?
A Reeses Pieces Cyclone from Friendly's
26. Are you an organized person?
I'm ADD, so I have to be organized ALL the time or stuff gets WAY out of control!
27. Are you obsessive compulsive about anything?
Everything! My OCD is what keeps order in the house with 3 kids (2 toddlers)

My husband thinks it's wierd that I can't watch movies where bad stuff happens to kids without having nightmares.

Yes- but only when drinking orange soda
36. What's the most painful dental procedure you've had?
It's a toss up between braces being tightened and having my wisdom teeth out
37. Can you name all 50 states?
Yes, in alphabetical order (in 20 seconds). I learned a song in 4th grade and it stuck with me
38. Is there a celebrity that you would like to punch in the face?
Hmm, this seems rather violent! I don't punch people, but I do think Brittney Spears could use a smack upside the head
39. Have you ever stepped on something sharp and had it go through your foot?
A razor in the shower
40. Have you ever been stung by a jellyfish?
Nope!
41. What's one of the dumbest home remedies that you've heard of?

42. Have you ever saved anyone's life?
If leading someone to Christ counts, than yes :-)
43. Do you like what the ocean does to your hair?
Yes! I get sexy, individual curls after swimming in the ocean & my hubby is a BIG fan of it :-)

Yes, quite a few school field trips and girl scout outings

48. What is a funny sound to you?
My 1 year old laughing
49. Have you ever been complimented on something other than your looks?
My singing, my children, my cooking, and my scrapbooking abilities :-)
50. Do you re-use towels after you shower?
Yes! I use the same towel for a week and then switch to a clean one. I figure, I'm wiping myself dry with it when I'm clean. If I used it to wrap myself in before the shower, I'd probably use a new one every day!

Under Construction
The Fanco household is now officially under construction :-). We had an excavator come out on Friday to dig out an area by our basement, and then the concrete cutters came and cut a hole for the new window. Tomorrow, Jeff will install the egress window in the basement so that he can then start framing and we can "officially" add another bedroom to the house. After 2 1/2 years of talking about doing this, we're finally going ahead with it :-). Anybody want to help Jeff frame the window??? :-)
The kitchen window and the basement daylight window next to our deck- right after I cleared away all of Meg's raspberry bushes in prep. for the digger.
Digging the hole- Teddy wanted to be out there watching the whole time and he kept singing the "Bob the Builder" theme song the whole time.
The nice big hole in our back yard. This is before the wall was cut :-). Now, there's an almost 5 foot tall by 3 foot wide hole there :-)

Yark Work
Painting Fun
Jeff bought some furniture that he had to assemble and at the end, there were 2 large boxes left over. I let the kids put on aprons and take them outside to paint them for fun. At the end, I took out the slip 'n slide and let the kids play on it to clean off.
Dirty paints! The 2 little ones like to double-dip their brushes!
Anna was BY FAR the messiest! I'm glad they were non-toxic paints because she kept licking the paintbrush!
"Anna, you paint YOUR box and leave mine alone!"
Teddy and Anna's box turned out pretty much an all-purple grayish color from everything mixing together. They had about 2 hours of fun doing it though.
Margaret painted hers to look like a HUGE sub sandwich (complete with lettuce, tomatoes, etc on the sides) and then wanted us to take this picture of a "Meg sandwich" :-)

Horseback Riding
Meg and her friend Landry went horseback riding for Landry's 5th birthday. They went on a 2 hour trailride. Meg decided to sew them "riding capes" before they went, so they could look like Ella from "Ella Enchanted". They were so cute!
Meg and Landry in their capes
Whoa!
Looking very grown up riding by herself!

A Trip to the Zoo
We went to the John Ball Zoo to celebrate Teddy's friend Jaedon's 3rd bithday party. Meg got to man the camera while we were looking at the animals, so I'm posting a few of the animal pictures to show off her camera work :-)
Meg with her foam and wire butterfly. This seems to have become a family tradition when we go to the zoo for the kids to get these. Anna got an elephant and Teddy got a monkey :-)
As always, thrilled to be outside and loving life!
Teddy and Jaedon- friends since birth!

Beating the heat with friends
A few weeks ago during that heat wave, our friends the Vanderhoffs invited us to the apartment which they're staying in while their house is built- b/c it has a pool :-). The kids enjoyed playing with friends and eating ice cream (though it melted VERY quickly in the heat!)
Best Buddies- Anna, Teddy, Carson (3), and Morgan (1)
Morgan V. and Anna- Morgan was born on my due date, so they're 2 weeks apart and LOVE to play together.
Meg and her friend Grace- the only ones who DIDN'T make a mess out of their ice cream!

Canoing
OK, so I'm getting a little flack again from friends for not updating my blog often enough :-P. In my defense, our internet has been hardly working for about 3 weeks, and never stays online long enough for me to upload pictures!!
Jeff and I went canoing with some friends last Sunday. It was just a 3 hour trip, but it literally poured the WHOLE trip except for the last 10 minutes! We had friends who tried to tip our canoe (bitter b/c I they tipped their own I think :-P ), but we managed to stay pretty dry other than the rain and a little splashing. Jeff and I really enjoy doing this sort of thing together and someday maybe we can more often!
