Uncles

2 of my brothers came to visit this past weekend- my brother Bradley (18) came out to visit from NH with my parents, and my brother Brent (25) came out to visit from Miami. The kids LOVE when any of their uncles come to visit, mainly because they let themselves become human jungle jims!

Sisters

Margaret is thrilled that Chessie can hold her head up now, because it means she can hold and carry her when she wants instead of having to have Chessie handed to her sitting on the couch. She is such a huge help to me and a great big sister!

 

Messy Kids...

Not to be outdone in the "mess making" department by Anna, Teddy decided to turn our kitchen floor into a giant salt-flat. Jeff had left out the large container of salt after filling up the shaker for the kitchen table, and Teddy got ahold of it. I came into the kitchen to find that he had dumped it all out, and then used his fingers to carve "roads" into it, which he then drove his matchbox cars on. He knew though, that he wasn't supposed to be doing this, and so he grabbed a ziploc bag and immediately started trying to use his fingers to put the salt in the bag once he knew he was caught. My children all seem predisposed towards being messy!

 

First Bath

Here are a few pictures from Chessie's first bath. Unlike her 3 older siblings, who all SCREAMED through their whole first bath, she never made a peep! She just looked at herself intently in the mirror and the only time she cried was when she was taken out of the tub.

Let me start by saying that I love my 3rd child dearly... however Antoinette Judith is SUCH a little stinker sometimes! I went down in the basement for less than 3 minutes this afternoon to check on something on my work computer, and come back upstairs to find THIS! Jeff had been repainting some of our stair spindles that I had stripped down last night, and somehow Anna found the paint, opened it, and decided to be a "big helper" by painting 2 kitchen chairs, the table, the floor, and herself (all using her hands). This took about 2 hours to clean up!!!
